A TRULY iconic PC game is worth thousands of dollars if you still have a copy at home.
These days PC games are often downloaded digitally – but it wasn't always so.

World of Warcraft came out all the way back in November 2004, and quickly became a smash-hit.
Blizzard's legendary MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing game) is one of the best-known titles in PC gaming.
And if you still have a sealed copy of the World of Warcraft Collector's Edition, it could be worth $5,960.26.
That's according to PriceCharting.com, which reports that a professionally graded version of the game is valued as high as $6,556.
Even an unsealed but complete-in-box version of the game could fetch you $224.77.
The box itself has a value of $100, higher than the loose disc at $78.53.
And the manual is said to be worth $62.50, according to the collectible-tracking website.
Of course your own sale of the item may bring in more or less money than these values.
It all depends on what individual collectors are willing to pay on a given day.
But these prices are good estimates based on previous sales of the item.
"We update our prices daily from sources across the internet so you can be sure the data is accurate and timely," said PriceCharting.
World of World of Warcraft
World of Warcraft is one of the biggest video games in the world.
Since its launch in 2004, it has become a global cultural phenomenon with millions of adoring fans worldwide.
It's set in the Warcraft fantasy universe, following the events of Blizzard RPG Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne.
Players create a character from races like Humans, Night Elves, Orcs or Trolls and take on roles such as Mage, Warrior, or Hunter.
They're tasked with completing quests, defeating bosses, and taking on other players in a vast open world.
And World of Warcraft is always growing, with nine expansion packs released to date – and a further three lined up.
The original game was available on its own, or as part of a special Collector's Edition.
It included a copy of the game on both CD and DVD, and also gave you a choice of exclusive in-game pet.
Additionally, buyers received a cloth map of Azeroth, a behind-the-scenes DVD, a 280-page illustration book, and a soundtrack CD for the game.
One Collector's Edition currently listed on eBay has an offer price of $8,895.
Later World of Warcraft expansions were also offered with Collector's Editions, but these are less valuable compared to the original.
